Everything you need to get the most out of notesaid.

Getting Started

  1. Download notesaid from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. On first launch, tap Continue as Guest to try it out, or sign in with Apple / Google to sync across devices.
  3. Guest mode keeps all your recordings and notes on-device. You can sign in later without losing anything.

Recording Audio

  1. Tap the microphone button on the Record tab to start capturing.
  2. A live waveform shows audio levels in real-time while you record.
  3. Tap the stop button when finished. Your recording is saved automatically.

Transcription (Cloud vs Offline)

  1. Cloud transcription uses OpenAI for the most accurate results and supports many languages.
  2. Offline transcription uses Whisper models downloaded to your device -- no internet required.
  3. You can download tiny, base, or small Whisper models from the settings screen.

Live Analysis

  1. While recording, notesaid surfaces notes and insights in real-time.
  2. Action items, key points, and reminders appear as they are detected.
  3. Review everything in the recording detail screen after you stop.

Summaries

  1. After transcription, notesaid generates an automatic summary of your recording.
  2. Summaries distill long conversations into concise, readable notes.
  3. Share summaries directly from the recording detail screen.

To-Do Lists & Reminders

  1. Action items are extracted automatically from your transcripts.
  2. Reminders with deadlines are detected and can be added to your calendar.
  3. Review all extracted items in the recording detail view.

Your Voice Library

  1. All recordings are organized in the Library tab with search and filters.
  2. Each entry shows duration, date, summary preview, and transcript status.
  3. Tap any recording to view its full transcript, summary, and extracted items.

Offline Mode & Whisper Models

  1. Download a Whisper model from Settings to enable offline transcription.
  2. Models range from tiny (fast, less accurate) to small (slower, more accurate).
  3. Offline mode works without internet -- perfect for flights, remote areas, or privacy.

Cloud Sync & Export

  1. Sign in to sync recordings and notes across all your devices.
  2. Export transcripts and summaries as text for use in other apps.
  3. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

PRO Subscription

  1. PRO unlocks unlimited transcriptions, extended recording time, full insights dashboard, priority cloud processing, and all future features.
  2. Subscribe from the Me tab. Monthly and annual plans are available.
  3. To restore a previous purchase on a new device, go to Me and tap Restore Purchases.
